March is MARCHING!

Time doesn't want to slow down. Here it is March...and I know before I blink it will be Eastertime. GEEZ...

IN STOCK!! Great reference for flowers!! and embroidery!!
Our class with Judith Adams was a fun yet snowy time!! Judith has never seen such snow, she was 'cold' but a good sport. And in truth, the storm wasn't such a bad thing, since it melted very quickly. Great weather to stitch and have a good time with many friends!! Thanks to all who joined us!!

It is now in Judith's Contract that she will NOT do snow again!! :-) I understand completely, I will not plan any winter teachers for now!

MARCH 10th thru March 12th, [Wednesday, Thursday, Friday] the shoppe is CLOSED.
I am away at the annual business meeting [midyear] for SAGA [ http://www.smocking.org/]. AS Region Representative for the 21 chapters in the Northeast, Eastern Canada and Europe, I am off to help plan and organize our organizational activities. Saturday the shoppe will be open for short hours courtesy of my daughter. Thank you Michelle. And Sunday=Daylight Savings time=I will be in the shop....coming directly from the airport!! Hope I see you all!!

IN STOCK...more coming: A-Z OF HEIRLOOM SEWING is here. A really quick review...great great great. This is one of two books that will help you create beautiful items. The other [also in stock] is A-Z OF SEWING. My feeling is that if you have these two books at your side, you can be sure to answer any puzzling questions you might have about sewing. AND Heirloom even covers HAND techniques!!

Come see both these great books.

Arriving this week: ASE 90! As always another great issue from Country Bumpkin.

The shoppe will be very busy this spring, lots of events happening in the Mill Race Village. Hope you will find time to join us: March 25th: Ladies Day at Robin's Nest and in the Village; April 17th: Daffodil Days; May 1st: Creativity for A Cause; Check out the village website: www.millraceshops.com

Keep stitching!!
